At Quality Community Outings, our Adult Day Center: Respite Services in Community Settings, offers a welcoming environment for adults with disabilities featuring engaging social activities, art, board games, foosball, air hockey table, reading nook, Nintendo Switch, D&D, sensory room/ calming room, and a movie room.

Our daily activities promote social interactions, creative expression, and overall enjoyment, ensuring a fulfilling experience for participants. Discover our current list of activities and join us in fostering community engagement and personal growth.

CNA's are on staff. Clients who need toileting assistance are welcomed to come and will be cared for.

Client rate: 25.08/hr

Private Pay rate: $26/hr per client

Schedule: M-F 10am-6pm

Quality Community Outings provide one-on-one community-based and individualized support with the intent of helping the customer reach their set goals. The program focuses on teaching a range of life skills which enhance their ability to achieve maximum self-efficacy and empowerment.

​Life Skills gives the individual the opportunity to make choices about their own lives. Often there are barriers that limits or restricts the person’s ability to make choices. Life Skills helps break those barriers that limits a person’s ability to decide what they want in their lives.

Staff and Family Services provides consultation with a family member or a direct service provider to help better serve the client.

​

Consultation support may include: Helping the family or direct service provider properly document medication side effects, changes in health, and behaviors which need to be reported to a prescribing physician.

Augmentative communication systems. We will help the direct service provider or family member better assist the client with communication by the use of assistive technology and/or PECS. How to identify resources for the client such as mental health. Helping the family or direct service provider follow a nutritional plan developed by a nutritionist or dietitian. Information on disabilities and educating the family member or direct service provider on the client’s disability. Consultation regarding an existing plan of care. Strategies on how to effectively interact with the client. This may include how to consistently use effective communication and de-escalation strategies. Environmental consultation. Helping the family or direct service provider create sensory friendly areas, and environmental modifications to the home.

Provides Life Skills and Staff and Family services to clients who are on the verge of being institutionalized and being expelled from their home due to behaviors.

We at Quality Community Outings are dedicated to helping you make meaningful connections in the community. We will make each outing something you are interested in and find activities that you will look forward to.

What a Community Engagement provider will do for you: Meet one-on-one and talk about your PCSP and your goals engaging with the community. Help you connect with community resources based on your needs and interests. Help you create friendships and relationships with community members. Help you attend the community events and go to activities in your budget.

This service is available to those enrolled on the HCBS waivers: Basic Plus, CORE, and Individual and Family Services.
